Winter vacationing in Maine is becoming increasingly popular, and we are fully operational and comfortable during this time of year. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice fishing are the main Activities.

Well groomed trails for snowmobiling run hundreds of miles in any direction and offer breathtaking scenery in this awesome winter landscape. Guide Services are available for the novice as well as the experienced skier or snowmobiler.

Opportunities to ski through Baxter State Park are available, and we offer vehicle shuttle or transportation for hearty ski groups planning this adventure.

Greetings to our winter friends!

This year marks our 32nd anniversary here at Mt Chase Lodge, and we would like to invite you to stay with us this snowmobile season.

For those who have not been here before, we are located ½ mile off the paved road in a quiet, wooded setting on Upper Shin Pond, 10 miles west of Patten on the road to Baxter State Park’s northern entrance, Rte 159.

We connect to ITS 85. Our full service lodge and cabins offer great accommodations for both large and small groups.

Meals are available as well as gasoline at reasonable prices.

The lodge includes eight private rooms, full commercial kitchen, hot tub, satellite television a full array of adult and kid board games, great room for sociability, fireplace and plenty of warm, cozy atmosphere for those cold nights after a long day’s ride.

Our private cabins offer very comfortable accommodations for 2-8 people and have been very popular over the years.

You might want to consider our SEASONAL RENTAL PROGRAM!.

Family style meals are available for all lodging guests and special arrangements may be made for group meals if you are staying somewhere else, or passing through.

Winter 2010 Snowmobile Lodging Rates

A minimum of one night’s stay is required for all reservations. This may be charged to a major credit card. M/C, VISA and Discovery Card Accepted. Or, you may send a personal check within 3 days.

GROUP RATES AVAILABLE FOR TEN OR MORE ADULTS.

Main Lodge Rooms

$49 per person, per night. Includes full lumberjack breakfast!

Housekeeping Cabins

• Cabin 1 Sleeps up to 8: 1-4 persons, $139/day; each additional person $20/day
• Cabin 2 Sleeps up to 6: 1-4 persons, $129/day; each additional person $20/day
• Cabin 3 sleeps up to 8: 1-4 persons, $139/day; each additional person $20/day
• Log Cabins Sleeps 1-3 persons, $99/day (we have two)

All cabins have full bathrooms. The large cabins (Cabin 1, 2 and 3) have full kitchens. The log cabins have a refridgerator, microwave oven, coffee pot, toaster oven, hot plate, dishes, and light cooking pots and pans. 2 day minimum stay.

Lodge Package for Large Groups

Rent our entire lodge for your group! Large groups of up to 25 people may rent our entire lodge facility for one flat rate. Sleep up to 25 people. Includes use of our full commercial kitchen facilities. Bring your own food. 6 person hot Tub, Satellite television, and all other lodge amenities included. $750 per night, with a two night minimum stay.

Check-In Information

Please plan your arrival for 1-2 PM. Early arrivals may not be able to check-In until the designated time. Please call ahead! Weekend check-out is 4:00 PM.

Deposits

A minimum of one night's stay is required for all deposits. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE but may be applied to a future date. NO REFUNDS for early departures. All balances due upon arrival.

Taxes & Gratuities

Quoted rates do not include gratuities or sales taxes. Meals and lodging rates are subject to an additional 7% state sales tax.
